Job Title:            UK Territory Manager - Medical Devices

Location:            UK field based

Duration:            Permanent

Our client is a US based medical devices company, one of the fastest growing small companies in the US. They are looking for an experienced Territory Manager to be the first person on the ground in UK for them in their efforts to expand their footprint in Europe.

The key role is the development of catheter usage through all modalities (Lead Management, Peripheral and Coronary Atherectomy, Thrombectomy and Crossing Solutions).The responsibilities mainly involve the achievement of territory and account goals relative to usage of products and the training and promotional activities related to the position.

• To be the first person on the ground in UK

 • Introduce new products to the UK market

• Unique position to sell one-of-its-kind niche products to improve patients Quality of Life

 • Strong emphasis on Key Account Management

 • Develop close relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in interventional cardiology, interventional radiology, electrophysiology and vascular surgery to expand awareness of these unique therapies

 • Develop Centres of Excellence and Training Centres

Candidate Profile

• Successful sales and clinical track record in medical devices, preferable radiology, cardiology or vascular surgery

. • Clinical knowledge of one or more fields of interventional cardiology, interventional radiology, electrophysiology and vascular surgery

 • Interested in starting a new operation in the United Kingdom, one which has shown success in other geographies

 • Large and small company experience is a plus

 • Being accepted by customers as a partner and ability to provide clinical and technical advice

.• Technical and clinical savviness to ensure proper field support

• Flexible, self-motivated, immune to stress,

• Time generous, able and willing to work the hours required to build the business.

 • Able and willing to travel frequently in the territory, and occasionally abroad

 • Ability to work in a strong growing organization
