• Undertaking technical evaluations on options for reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Much of the work focuses on CO2 capture and storage (CCS).
• Facilitating implementation of GHG mitigation technology by providing “informed evidence based” information
• Developing international collaborative actions on GHG mitigation, the main activity in this area is the operation of a number of international research networks on CCS.
• Disseminating the results of the  work as widely as possible. 

They require a Project Manager to oversee the dissemination activities of the organisation. These activities include:-

• A series of conferences on GHG mitigation technology and OCC,
• International research network meetings and summer schools,
• The organisations websites
• Publications such as a quarterly newsletter on Greenhouse Gas Issues.

It is expected that the appropriate candidate would have experience in project/conference management, relevant experience in the communication and delivery of technical results to both technical and non technical audiences, be a good technical writer and have public speaking experience. A relevant technical background would be beneficial.
 
The post would be located in Gloucestershire, UK. However the post would require travel because of the international nature of the activities.
