My client is a global medical technology supplier of advanced radiation oncology
and neurosurgery solutions.
They are looking for a Product Support Specialist who will be part of a cross
functional design and development team, providing 4th line support as part of
new product development, ensuring that equipment is designed to meet the
performance and service needs of customers. As a task driven individual, you
will collate data and specify the support needs of the service engineer and end
user. You will plan documentation, training, spare parts as well as ensure
product knowledge is captured and transferred from the design team. You will be
involved in product launch activities including installation and monitoring
product performance during the early stages of the lifecycle.
Experience of kilo voltage generation and diagnostic imaging and systems is a
must. You will also have strong customer service focus and experience of working
with R&D projects. Ideally a professional engineer and IT literate,
candidates will have a background in Medical Imaging & X-ray systems
gained from hospitals, medical companies or affiliated technologies such as
spectography. This challenging role will bring you into close contact with
our clients international service organisations for product roll out management
and identification and development of After Sales & Service opportunities. There
is international travel with this role of around 20%
