My client is a global precision
technology company operating at the highest levels of accuracy within the field
of metrology. They provide measurement solutions to the most demanding
applications with a worldwide infrastructure to support their clients.
They are looking for an Export Area Sales Manager to cover an assigned group of
territories through the management, support and training of local agents and /
or distributors
Responsibilities:

Negotiation of high value orders
-
Maximising returns from territories.

Providing support and guidance to agents
and distributors
-
Selection and organisation of
appropriate exhibitions or seminars
-
Maintaining CRM package as an integral
tool in managing assigned territories
-
Providing adequate and relevant reports
to International Sales Manager on which policy decisions may be based
Education & Experience:
-
Extensive experience within the
Metrology market
-
Sound negotiating skills
-
Knowledge of commercial practices in
various countries
-
Proven ability to motivate Agents and
Distributors
-
Capability to give presentation of
company products to a wide range of audiences
-
Ability to associate and project
satisfactory company image at all levels of industry including senior director
level
-
Ability to understand and assimilate the
cultural practices in disparate territories
The successful candidate will have a
strong technical sales and export background specifically from within the field
of metrology or industries such as semiconductors, precision optics or energy.
