My client is a global
precision technology company operating at the highest levels of accuracy within
the field of Metrology. They provide measurement solutions to the most demanding
applications with a worldwide infrastructure to support their clients.
They are looking for a Software Engineer to develop Microsoft Windows based
software as part of the company's range of metrology products, with particular
emphasis on Agile software development principles and practices
Requirements Qualified to degree level or equivalent in a software or
engineering based discipline
Software application development using C# and the .NET framework.
Working knowledge of Agile principles and practices
Good understanding of test-driven development and unit testing,
object-oriented techniques, design patterns, and UML
Ability to capture and analyse business requirements and provide creative
software solutions and designs to meet these requirements
Metrology experience or developing software to control imstrumentation
Experience of implementing and developing mathematical algorithms in a
scientific or instrumentation-type environmenta
