Our client develops, manufactures and deploys advanced radiation therapy systems for the treatment of a wide variety of cancers. The systems combine integrated CT imaging with conformal radiation therapy to deliver sophisticated radiation treatments.
They are looking for a General Manager in Europe who will lead the
cross-functional teams in achieving profitable growth for the Region. The
General Manager has profit and loss responsibility for the Region and therefore
leads the development and execution of a strategy for the region which results
in achievement of financial targets. This leader will drive the development of
the region's business strategy and direct the sales, service and all other
operational support activities to ensure that growth and operating targets are
met.
Required qualifications for this position include:
*Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering or related field is required. A
masters degree in business administration is preferred.
*Ten years professional Commercial leadership experience in capital medical
equipment with specific knowledge of the assigned international region is highly
desired. Other related experience may also be considered.
*High-energy, customer oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills and
effective cross-cultural leadership skills.
*Effective team developer and player.

*Proven operations management abilities with strong strategic and innovative
approaches to achieve targets.
*Familiarity and experience with oncology, radiotherapy, IMRT, and other
hospital / healthcare practices.
