My client is looking for a Field Support Manager for Southern
Europe to be responsible for coordinating the delivery of technical support for
their Medical Device unit and managing the service needs at customer sites.
Working closely with the Site Planner, Installation Manager, Science Group,
Manufacturing and Applications Training personnel, this individual will develop
and implement a detailed service strategy plan coordinating service and support
activities and requirements.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelors degree in engineering or physics. Other qualifications with
significant related work experience may also be considered
At least 3 years of field support, engineering or manufacturing experience
with high technology electrical/electronic products. Prior work experience with
a Medical Device manufacturer would be a plus.
Three to five years of management/leadership experience within the high
technology service industry. Other qualifications with significant related work
experience may also be considered.
Strong leadership/managerial skills.
Hands-on experience with electronic test equipment.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Excellent communication, organizational, and customer relations skills.
Good computer skills, including the use of standard office software programs
including spreadsheet, word processing and email applications.
Experience in basic administration of Windows-based computer hardware,
software, and networking would be an advantage.
An ability to travel up to 60% of the time is required.
