Our client develops, manufactures and deploys advanced radiation therapy systems for the treatment of a wide variety of cancers. The systems combine integrated CT imaging with conformal radiation therapy to deliver sophisticated radiation treatments.
They are looking for an Applications Specialist for Europe, responsible for
assisting in the development of customer training material and classes including
on site formal system and application instruction for the operator station. This
individual will assist in developing and implementing customer satisfaction
program to assure excellent customer service. This position requires excellent
written and verbal communication skills, and a significant amount of travel.
This individual will require an ability to work well with a diverse professional
group including physicians, technologists, physicists, dosimetrists, and
administrative personnel. This position involves learning the workflow system
and then becoming a mild-mannered expert and customer champion. Customer
satisfaction is the metric for job performance.
Required qualifications for this position include:
*At least 3 years of clinical experience in radiation therapy treatment and
simulation.
*One year of IMRT experience is desirable.
*Excellent written and verbal skils, as well as being multilingual.
*Excellent customer relations skills.
*Good computer skills, including the use of standard office software programs
including spreadsheet, word-processing, and email applications.
*High energy level and an ability to travel. (Travel may be as high as
two-thirds time during installation periods.)
*Ability to work well with R&D and Marketing/Sales.
*Ability to be a self-starter and prioritize multiple assignments.
*Currently living in Europe.
