Our client is a global leader in industrial and office printer technologies and
solutions. They are looking for a Channel Sales Manager to be based in
Germany responsible for developing channel expansion to markets in Germany and
Switzerland. Duties / Responsibilities:
Develop strategies to increase sales volume from $1M to $2M per year in year one
and $1M to $3M in year two
Responsible for selling complex technical products and/or services
Specialize in a single product line and carry an overlay quota
Assigned to several VAR’s and is responsible for supporting them as well as
adding new qualified resellers
Collaborate with Area Sales Manager to close sales deals
Serve as a technical product expert to develop and present sales proposals and
systems solutions, and close complex technical sales
Qualifications:
BA or BS degree or equivalent, MBA or graduate degree preferred
Major in Business or related field, plus sales and technical training,
preferably in the printer business
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in a similar environment
Solid presentation skills across all business levels
50% travel required
Must be computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office
Strong English language skills both written and verbal
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and a good team player who communicates well at
all business levels
A solid track record of growing sales during previous career and accustomed to
work with resellers and end-users
