We are looking for a Product Manager SS7 protocol for SMS for our client based
in Berkshire.
- Work with the Product Strategy Manager to translate market
requirements into technical requirements
- Create roadmaps and communicate them internally and externally
- Create and manage product releases
- Negotiate timeframes and resource allocation for each release
- Review Development High Level Design
- Manage effectively product cost structure and 3rd party cost integration.
- Assist sales by the way of producing product documentation, presentations,
reviewing RFX and attending customer meetings
- Developing and implementing company wide market strategies for the product
- Produce/initiate product white-papers and assisting in Technical response
to Sales requests
- Driving a solution set across development teams (primarily Development /
Engineering, and Marketing Communications) through market requirements,
product contract, and positioning
- Lead communications throughout the company regarding product positioning,
differentiation, and capability
- Work with Sales and drive the product launch and effective presentation of
your products to target customers
- Analysing potential partner relationships for the product
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:
- Excellent knowledge of SS7
- At least 2 years working with SS7 technology for SMS
- At least 2 years working in a product management role in a Wireless
Telecoms environment
- Excellent presentation skills
Desirable:
- Experience at a leading Wireless Network Operator
- Experience at a leading Wireless messaging technology vendor

- Proven ability to convincingly communicate new concepts and ideas to
customers and sales in both written and oral form

Able to multi-task, work under pressure and flexible to requirements

- Experience of MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project)
Special Features:
- This position requires travel to customer and non-customer sites worldwide
(~ 25%)
