My client, a major technology transfer company, is looking for Project Managers for
the Management of Life Science Projects from an initial inventor disclosure to a granted patent, a licence or a new company. Projects may also include any other defined tasks such as the preparation for a major funding bid

The role will include:-
· Working to create commercially viable projects
· Building a network of relationships with researchers with ideas who potentially could have the basis of a successful project.
· Putting together well crafted business cases for potential successful projects.
· Working with line manager and researchers to attract projects.
· Managing Successful Projects to a Conclusion
· Developing project plans..
· Working with line manager to make commercially sound decisions as to when to archive a project, even if it has not been successful.
· Actively seek out potential licensees for projects in line with agreed targets.
· Negotiating licence deals.
· Managing the formation of new companies.
· Supporting the inventors in their future research funding.
· Team building

The succesful candidate will have a Life Sciences background with strong business development and / or product management skills.
