Our client is looking for a technical Sales Specialist to drive Analytical
Imaging product sales in the UK, Nordic countries, Germany, Eastern Europe,
Austria and India.
Working as a team with Account Managers, Product Technical Specialists and
Key account personnel you will be responsible for achieving sales objectives for
their range of Analytical Imaging products.
This is a commercial position with direct customer interaction and therefore excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
The position is based in the West Midlands although extensive travel within the UK and overseas will be required.

Education:
Degree qualified in Chemistry, Physics or Material Science and preferably with a PhD with experience of optical / molecular spectroscopy (e.g. IR, NIR and Raman) for material characterization. A relevant second language would be advantageous.
Experience :
A minimum of 4 years selling experience in a related field.
Previous overseas travel and experience of working with distributors is required.
Experience and knowledge of digital and analytical imaging technologies and instrumentation, including optical / molecular spectroscopy (e.g. IR, NIR and Raman) is desired.
