My client
is looking for an Account Manager for Denmark to identify, qualify,
develop, support and close sales of their range of high-performance bioanalytical measurement systems
for Life Sciences research and Drug Discovery. .
In addition the requirement is
to:-

Develop the prospect
database and existing customer list and monitor sales growth.
-
Achieve assigned sales
targets.
-
Close liaison with the rest
of the team to ensure seamless customer support from initial interest to post
sales support.
-
Maintain a high level
of technical and application competence.
-
Monitor competitor’s
activities, products, and potential new or improved applications or product
extensions.
-
Evaluate effectiveness of
marketing programs.
-
Attend trade shows, seminars
and workshops as well as maintaining customer contacts to develop and improve
sales skills.
The succesful candidate will
have:-
-
BSc in Biological /
Chemical Sciences with a (molecular) biology background.
-
At least 2+ years sales
experience in relevant field. Must be able to demonstrate ability to achieve
targets consistently.

Experience in a commercial
function like the reagent field (enzymes, fine chemicals, DNA,) or the
consumables (plastic, glassware) or capital expenditure business (robots,
spotters for the micro-array techniques, etc.);
-
Have excellent written and
verbal communication skills, particularly in areas of negotiation, persuasion,
research & problem solving.

Strong working knowledge of
MS Office, basic graphics software and database management software (ACT)
required.
