Our client develops tools and systems for the Nanotechnology and Bioscience
markets. They are looking for a Project Manager to bring innovative products
to market by leading a multi disciplinary team of experts and delivering against
milestones, financial constraints and quality standards. To monitor progress,
manage risk and regularly report on progress to the executive team.
Technical Skills
Degree or higher education qualification in Science or Engineering.
Knowledge of, or an ability to quickly understand the necessary technical issues
of Nanoscience markets.
At least 5 year experience of current proven world class project management
techniques in a dynamic environment.
Good business acumen - Experience in different functions of a business.
Proven ability of estimating and risk management.
Personal Skills
You will have strong influencing skills, challenge established systems,
excellent relationship building skills. The ability to present self assertively
and at senior level. Ability to build and lead a successful team with energy and
enthusiasm. A decisive individual who has the will to win.
Background
Programme / project manager in an high technology, high value manufacturing
environment e.g. Defence, IT Systems, Aviation, Instrumentation.
