Job Title:               Project Engineer - Building Physics

My client is a leading wind and computational modeling consultancy for the civil engineering and oil & gas industries.

They are looking for a Project Engineer with a CFD background to join the Building Physics Group which provides modeling services across the full range of civil construction industries and works closely with the Wind Tunnel Group to provide high value deliverables to clients. The Building Physics services use computational and physical modelling techniques combined with expertise and experience in fluid-flow, heat-transfer and solar radiation. The current range of services span the following areas:

* Mechanical and natural ventilation
* Pollution dispersion
* Raindrop trajectory prediction
* Thermal comfort and building thermal performance
* Fire/smoke propagation and smoke management.
* Availability of daylight and sunlight
* Reflectivity and glare analysis
* Solar radiation for plant growth
* External and internal cladding loading
* Explosion loads

The successful candidate will have a sound background in CFD modeling of low speed flows and some experience in thermal modeling.

The work environment is fast paced with demanding deadlines.
