Our client is looking for a field based (within Europe) Technical Sales Manager to manage key business development projects in the UK and Europe.

The role will include participating in customer visits, presenting seminars and attending key exhibitions to provide technical and development support and information to customers.

Assessing technical feasibility and commercial value of potential new media development projects and managing client assessments of proprietary or custom media to ensure that appropriate evaluation protocols are followed.

Participating in technical, media development and marketing collaborations to ensure products are launched effectively and on time.

Candidates must have:-

A Life Sciences degree or related focus with 8-10 years experience in the industrial cell culture market or a Master's degree with 5-8 years experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Working understanding of bioreactor design and its effects on cell engineering and media packaging.

Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal skills.

Effective group and individual presentation.

Ability to financially analyse an opportunity and to make sound business recommendations in the interest of our client.

Preferred:

Doctoral degree in Biological Sciences with 3-5 years media development experience in an industrial scientific industry.
