Job Title: Systems Developer - Medical Technologies

My client a technology development company is looking for an experienced systems developer with proven embedded software and medical product development experience. The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering technology research and/or product development projects to time and to budget, as well as having excellent client management skills.

You will be expected to:
• Support medical device development projects with embedded systems and software
• Integrate the latest sensor and actuator technologies with software-driven platforms, including microcontrollers, microprocessors and DSP’s
• Handle multiple development programmes in a fast-moving, multidisciplinary environment
• Deliver systems, code and documentation to regulatory standards.
• Present work to managers and clients

You will have:
• A 1st or 2.1 class degree in physical sciences/engineering, preferably with post graduate qualifications
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Intrinsically high levels of motivation
• Solid experience developing embedded systems for medical devices
• Broad knowledge and experience in embedded systems and software
• Experience with all aspects of the software lifecycle
• A strong level of ability in coding with C / C++
• Experience with RTOS and other operating systems.
