My client a technology development company is looking for an Applied Mathematician or Analytical Physicist to join a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers. They develop leading edge technologies such as microfluidics, optics, micro-mechanical devices and products such as medical diagnostics, fuel cells, displays, sensors, for a range of markets from healthcare to consumer products.

They are looking for a bright, enthusiastic, applied mathematician / analytical physicist with both an aptitude and interest in commercial development to join the team. Candidates will have strong academic credentials and demonstrable drive and commitment.

The Qualifications

"       Applied Mathematician or Analytical Physicist with a 1st or 2.1 degree with PhD from leading institute.

"       Strong capability in mathematical analysis and computational simulation of physical systems, with experience of software and algorithm development.

"       Very good oral and written communication, presentation, and team skills.

"       Project management and commercial experience an advantage.
