My client is a leading
electronics innovation company, they are looking for an Electronics Group
Leader. The electronics group is part of the product development team that
is building exciting new portable electronic products and applications.
The role is to ensure that the company's product development requirements are
satisfied within budgeted resource and time constraints.
Key deliverables
Leading and developing the Electronics team. This is a hands-on role and
will involve performing detailed technical design/development activities
alongside team leadership To
work closely with the Hardware and Software Architects, Manufacturing and User
Experience teams to deliver the hardware platform for their products Manage
the hardware team through the development of hardware solutions from prototypes
through to high volume production Documents
and presents results for peer review
Candidate attributes
Hold an electronics engineering or similar degree and have at least 7
years post graduate industrial experience developing electronics for consumer
applications Have
developed microprocessor, FPGA and PSU circuits for volume manufacturing Have
Created firmware, for microcontrollers and FPGAs using C and Verilog Demonstrate
successful leadership, management, and development of a small team of high
quality engineers and technicians. Have
experience of hardware development processes and quality systems. Be
able to recognize and resolve potentially conflicting priorities and demands. Relate
well to an exceptional peer group, be tolerant of ambiguity; be able to work to
tight deadlines, and display flexibility and resilience.
