My client is a leading
technology company looking for a DBA / ERP Team Leader.
They will be deploying an ERP system to control Finance, Order processing, HR
and Process control.
Job Purpose
• Assist to define the ERP solution
• Evaluate a suitable system vendor
• Write a detailed specification for the application taking into consideration
the requirements from the stakeholders
• Plan and implement the international roll-out
• Manage Maintenance
• Assist in the management of the internal and outsourced implementation team
• Assist in the design of a the application to facilitate links to MES
Key Result Areas
• Managing a configuration team to implement functionality
• Defining and agreeing test approach
• Managing test execution
• Managing process design work (functional lead)
• Working and facilitating workshops with key business users to define and
specify ERP requirements and configuring the system according to business needs
• In an architect role you would be expected to be responsible for the overall
shape of a solution and be able to make the decisions required to create that
architecture.
• You will also be able to articulate to executives the reasoning behind
functional or technical decisions you or your team have taken.
• Write a detailed specification for the ERP
• Help setting up time frames for the implementation of the system
• After a supplier has been selected, ensure that the installation of the
software goes smoothly
Competencies sought
You will require deep ERP technical experience in implementing and streamlining
within the following areas is needed:
• Degree qualified with at least 5 years experience with ERP applications
• Financial Accounting
• Financial Controlling
• Supply Chain Management
• Sales & Distribution
• Substantial ERP solution experience (5 years)
• Proven understanding of processes and best practices within industry, and how
to leverage ERP functionality to support those best practices
• Project Management Experience
• Able to define, plan and execute a schedule of work as part of a larger
program of work
• Able to develop a relationship with the internal and client project team to
ensure timely development of work activities and deliverables
Work Requirements
• Willing to travel
• Experience in international environment will be valuated.
• Writing of technical documentation
• Personally well-organised and good interpersonal skills.
