My client is looking for a
Materials Engineer to play a key role in the development of an emerging class of
flexible and low cost electronics products
Job Purpose
Reporting to the Engineering Manager,Materials, the main duties will include:
* Assessment and evaluation of novel materials
* TFT fabrication and optimisation
* Device testing and analysis of transistor characteristics
Candidate Attributes
* Educated to degree level or above, or with equivalent experience,
the successful candidate will be an engineer or scientist with a strong
experimental and development background, ideally in organic electronics.
* A proven track record of working in a laboratory environment
* Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to
communicate effectively at all levels.
* Strong problem solving skills and the ability to approach
tasks in a structured manner.
* The ability to work independently and plan/prioritise their
