My client is looking for a
Display Layout Engineer to perform layout and verification of active matrix
display backplanes, test structures and other printed semiconductor integrated
circuits.
Key deliverables
-
Ownership of all aspects of
the display layout process for process improvement and as a component of product
design
-
Ensuring that the display and
other circuit layout meets all design, manufacturing, assembly and test needs.
This will require a high level of interaction with process and test engineers.

Active involvement in future
product designs. This will require close cooperation with the product design
engineering team.

Ownership of all tape
out/GDSII stream out activities including post tape out activities such as
documentation, archiving and job tracking.

Setup and performing DRC, LVS
and parasitic extraction of the layouts and independently identify, debug and
solving any physical verification discrepancies.
Candidate attributes
-
Hold an
electrical/electronics engineering or science degree and have industrial
experience in circuit design using analogue/digital IC layout tools, preferably
Cadence (Virtuoso, Assura) Have some familiarity with setting up CAD tools and
supporting internal users on various CAD related questions. Background in Skill
language and coding is beneficial. Knowledge of Linux systems would be a further
asset

Have knowledge of transistor
level layout issues including matching, interdigitation, parasitics and latch
up. Have the ability to learn new design flows and processes.

Have ability to operate
effectively as part of a team and cope with high levels of ambiguity, with often
rapidly changing and tight deadlines.

Be motivated and have strong
written and oral communications skills.
